Well I’m nearing the end of the 3rd week of Whole30. I’ve been able to find lots of delicious food to try, and overall I would say I have way more energy than before I started. I’m still not a morning person by any means, but I’m able to go about my day at work, and in the evening I don’t find it as big of a struggle to do some choires and go to the gym. That is pretty significant for me since normally I have trouble doing more than just work and maybe the gym in the evening. Even when I’m at the gym I have noticed an improvement over before. I’m not sure if it’s the weight loss, or if I just have better “fuel” to burn at the gym, but I’m able to workout harder and have broken through barriers I couldn’t before. It might just be the start of “Tiger’s Blood” that they refer to on the site!
As I’m following this way of eating I’ve realized that I would like to continue to eat this way the majority of the time. I’m not saying I’ll never have a treat, or a meal that isn’t Whole30 compliant. I’m just saying at home most of the time I’d like to follow Whole30 as much as possible. I feel that it’s made me almost more of a sane person.
Yes it’s a lot of work making sure you have fresh fruits and vegetables. And yes it’s a LOT of work making most of your meals from scratch. But for the first time in forever I don’t feel that food is controlling my life. It’s not my answer to everything and anything… and that feels really liberating. My husband is also feeling more mentally clear then he has in such a long time. That in and of itself makes any time and money spent following Whole30 TOTALLY and completely worth it. If you want to read more about it you can find it here.

You are doing fantastic. So proud of you. I’m sure your chores are easier, but its not a struggle to sing in the choir. Haha just having a little fun with you. Again great job.
